After 10,000 simulated elections, Clinton wins 9,994 times (plus the House would give her the one tie), and McCain wins 5 times. Clinton still has a 99.9% probability of winning and McCain has a 0.1% probability of winning a general election held today.
Politically, the United States is a center-right country which is why the Republicans almost always win. However, considering the problems of the current Republican administration, I believe Americans are willing to move slightly to the left to the point of voting for a moderate. Right now HRC is the only viable moderate Democrat so we should nominate her to represent our party in order to have the best chance of winning!
